What Are Process FMEA Failure Mode Effects?

When a manufacturing process creates a Failure Mode, several different groups can experience harm including the manufacturing plant and the end customer. It is important to capture the effects on everyone. Unfortunately, manufacturing personnel typically are experts in producing products which meet specification but are not knowledgeable of the impact on the customer when specifications are missed. When properly constructed, the Design FMEA is an excellent source of the impact of failure modes on customers.

Rich has introduced FMEA's for a new product development project I have been working on. His training of the method and the usage of his software was very clear and easy to follow.
