What Is A Design FMEA Occurrence Rating?
Probability of exposure to the Failure Mode and subsequent harm defined by the Failure Mode Effects column due to the design weakness defined in the Failure Cause column. A common mistake made is to establish the Occurrence Rating based on the probability of the cause.
